On December 3, 100% Amazonia was honored at the Best of International Business Awards, promoted by Apex-Brasil and Exame magazine, one of Brazil’s most prestigious recognitions for companies engaged in foreign trade and sustainable development.
The company was nominated in two categories – Sociobiodiversity Promotion and Regional Development – and received a special award:
Exporting Company of the Year (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises).
Our cofounder and CEO, Fernanda Stefani, represented 100% Amazonia during the ceremony and accepted the award on behalf of the team. In her remarks, Fernanda highlighted the purpose that guides the company every day:
“This award is a testament to the power of Amazonian socio-biodiversity and Brazil’s bioeconomy.”
She also emphasized that 100% Amazonia works with 28 productive chains of non-timber botanical species, engaging traditional communities and family farmers across the Amazon, people who play a vital role in keeping the forest standing.
Fernanda dedicated the award to the women of 100% Amazonia, who lead, innovate, operate, and build a more just, inclusive, and transparent bioeconomy every day.
This recognition reinforces a core belief of the company:
Amazonian bioingredients are ready to elevate product quality and create new opportunities in global markets, while strengthening local value chains and showcasing the Amazon as a source of innovation and sustainable development.
