On November 19, during the COP30 Green Zone programming, our cofounder and CEO, Fernanda Stefani, took part in the panel “Green Economy – Pará at the Center of the Debate”, held at the Pará Pavilion.
The discussion brought together representatives from SEMAS (Pará’s Secretariat of Environment and Sustainability), Instituto Belterra, the Municipality of Mãe do Rio, and Mombak, offering different perspectives on the pathways needed to strengthen a green economy that is robust, inclusive, and aligned with sustainable development across the region.
During her participation, Fernanda emphasized that building a green economy is only possible through collective effort – forged through collaboration among public policies, the private sector, research and educational institutions, and the communities who live in and care for the forest.
She also highlighted the importance of strengthening and integrating sociobiodiversity value chains, promoting local industrialization, and expanding global access to Amazonian bio-ingredients, connecting the forest’s potential to markets that value transparency, traceability, and positive socio-environmental impact.
Our presence in the Green Zone reinforces 100% Amazonia’s commitment to actively contributing to an economic model that keeps the Amazon standing, generates income locally, and promotes sustainable innovation for the future of our planet.
