During the first week of the COP30, 100% Amazonia took part in Cas’Amazonia, a collaborative initiative led by Instituto Arapyaú and Uma Concertação pela Amazônia. The program positioned Brazil at the center of global discussions on integrated solutions for the major challenges across climate, nature, and development agendas.
Our Co-Founder and CEO, Fernanda Stefani, joined the panel “Strengthening Bioeconomy Markets and Value Chains,” the discussion brought together representatives from organizations leading structural transformations in the sector, including Natura, Carrefour, C&A Brasil and Sociobio Hub.
The conversation explored financing solutions, market expansion, and business models capable of integrating forest conservation with income generation and improved quality of life for Amazonian communities.
Topics highlighted included:
- Strengthening sociobiodiversity value chains
- Financing for social and environmental impact businesses
- Scaling and internationalizing bioeconomy products
- Governance and transparency in community partnerships
- Collaboration across retail, industry, organizations, and funding networks
The panel demonstrated how diverse approaches – from retail to B2B, finance to international support networks – are enabling the expansion of the bioeconomy with responsibility, transparency, and innovation.
100% Amazonia’s participation reinforces our commitment to industrializing at the source, adding value to Amazonian bio-ingredients, and opening global markets while generating positive impact for the forest and the communities who care for it.
We continue working to ensure the bioeconomy becomes a concrete path for sustainable development, income generation, and the conservation of a standing, flourishing Amazon.
