An abundant forest—and prosperity for its people

By giving local communities an active voice and participation in our processes, we achieve a complete, sustainable value chain. It begins with processing Amazonian raw materials and continues through delivery of quality ingredients. We meet the needs of industry customers while improving quality of life for people in the Amazon.

The Amazon forest is abundant in all its impressive scope and aspects. And that is how it should remain—with its biological, ancestral, and economic wealth conserved. In recent decades, however, we have seen increasing levels of deforestation and social problems, caused mainly by the growth of extractive economic activities unrelated to the conservation of forest life.

In 2021, there were more than 13,235km2 of devastated areas in the Brazilian Amazon forest.

There is an alternative to this devastation. 100% Amazonia has proven in practice that it is possible to make trade more fair and succeed in business through a more caring capitalism. Together, we can (and will!) change the economic flow, achieving a more promising reality in which all links of the chain are equally valued.

We created a process in which everyone can win. We share our strengths, so there is no weaker side. We take no shortcuts. We bring the Amazon to your door, in formats as multiple and diverse as the forest, keeping everything in its place and representing the true champions of this story.

Here is one example: Maués is the territory of origin and hub of guaraná production in the Amazon. Here, the remote community of Alto Urupadi adds ancestral knowledge to family labor, keeping alive the native Amazon guaraná. This combination of today’s methods with traditional wisdom strengthens our value chain. It serves as a viable model of economic development that combines forest conservation, recognition of Amazonian sociobiodiversity’s value, and income generation for the wellbeing of rural farming families.

Community

We see what is behind the raw materials and know that each product has a unique narrative. We make it a point to spread these stories and give prominence to the people who make our business possible. Being with 100% Amazonia is the certainty that your story will be told.

There is an alternative path that is possible. We have proven in practice that it is possible to make fair trade by giving new meaning to resignifying capitalism. Together, we can (and will!) change the economic flow to a more promising reality in which all ends of the chain are equally valued.

We value the history and the work of all the links in our chain. We are guided by a sense of justice, ethics, and equality. For us, trade only makes sense if it is good for everyone. We know that it is only possible to take the best of the Amazon to the world if we offer the best conditions for our people and our forest.

Biodiversity

We are intrinsically connected to the possibilities of the forest. We understand, learn, live and value, in an integral way, each input that nature provides for us to grow together.

From a single fruit, the pulp becomes juice, the seed becomes oil, and from the peel a cosmetic is born. We know that by taking this plurality into everyone’s lives, we enable people to connect with the forest and help us to keep it standing.

Quem somos

Socio-environmental assets

Renewable raw materials – The future of the Amazon depends on better business models. 100% Amazonia proves that it is possible to develop value chains based on renewable, non-timber products, all based on fair and sustainable commercial relationships with traditional forest communities.

Local socioeconomic development – Developing our unique commercial products would be incomplete without another goal: developing the active participation of Amazonian communities. Through community forest management and access to markets, local peoples affirm their economic autonomy and their role as guardians of biodiversity, knowledge, and Amazonian culture.

Regeneration of devastated areas – There is no future for the Amazon without change! We work to transform the way we relate to the forest today, especially in the way we do business. That is why we conserve the forest and invest in the regeneration of degraded and deforested areas, renewed through production of local species.
